Field Technician

  Job Description General Summary:
Perform installation of service to Alwadi Communications customers and the repair of existing customer service. Perform general maintenance, upgrades and preventive maintenance on customer equipment. The Field Services Technician must be able to interface with customers, service technicians, technical support personnel, and other telecom professionals and have the communication skills to convey the situation in a professional and logical manner.  Working areas may be anywhere within Libya, and possibility to work outside Libya

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, repair and test GSM/3G BTSs, and BSCs
  • Install, maintain, and repair Alawadi Communications customer premise equipment (inbuilding systems, IT systems , and perform/troubleshoot inside wiring)
  • Install, maintain and repair Radio systems ( KENWOOD poducts)

    Interface with external customers and other key technical contacts both inside and outside of Alwadi Communications in a professional, quality manner.
Demonstrate safe/responsible work habits to ensure proper vehicle operation and a safe workplace environment.
