Field Installation Technician - In Building Wireless
Description Due to the growth of the high-quality of services, and the professional service delivery in the Libyan Market. Alwadi communication as a leading In-Building wireless system supplier to the wireless Operators, we are in need of a dedicated team player to work in our fast-paced environment. As an Installer, you will require travelling to customer sites in all over Libya region to perform installations, run cable, troubleshoot in-building solutions and repair antenna systems. Previous structured cable experience; understanding of radio frequencies and ability to learn new technology is desired.This is an entry-level position with growth opportunity. DUTIES Install Distributed Antenna Systems at customer facilities which include running cable and mounting/installation of related equipment - Assist in troubleshooting and repair of antenna systems
- Assist in commissioning of systems
- Represent Alwadi communications and interact professionally with external contacts
- Travel to various customer sites
- Maintain company tools and stock required equipment needed to perform work
- Work as a member of a team; with the ability to work independently
- Pack and unpack materials
- Responsible for safety and quality assurance
- Prepare and submit all reports (i.e. time sheet, expense reports, daily report. etc.) in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain a professional, courteous and responsive attitude to customers and fellow employees at all times
Requirements KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED: - Understand and demonstrate standard cable practices
- Ability to read and interpret building drawings
- Basic knowledge of Radio Frequency technology
- Willingness to travel – occasional overnight travel required (all over Libya)
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Effective communication skills with a variety of contacts
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle
- Strong customer relations skills
- Demonstrated teamwork skills
- Basic English language reading/writing
EDUCATION: Minimum level: High School Degree 1 – 2 years of experience in related vocation or technical fields
